Chaminade beats St. Anthony's to win CHSAA Boys Lacrosse Championship at Hofstra Thursday night.

NSCHSAA Varsity AA boys Lacrosse Championship game between the Chaminade Flyers and the St Anthony's Friars at Hofstra University's Shuart Stadium on Thursday evening, May 22. Chaminade was seeking it's fourth consecutive title and it took more than regulation for it to happen. St. Anthony's Dante Fantoni scored with 1:23 left in the fourth to give the Friars an 11-10 lead. Chaminade fought back as junior Steve Chmil tied the score at 11 for Chaminade with 17 seconds left in the game to force overtime. St. Anthony's won the faceoff in overtime, but Chaminade goalie Nolan Hickey made a point-blank save on a shot by St Anthony's All-American Mike Chanenchuk. Alex Fox got possession for the Flyers and bounced a shot in for the dramatic 12-11 win and Chaminade's fourth title...........
