Girls Varsity Lacrosse, Nassau County Class C semi final- Cold Spring Harbor vs Manhasset
Story:
Girls Varsity Lacrosse Nassau Class C semi final game action between the Manhasset Indians and the Cold Spring Harbor Seahawks on Thursday afternoon, May 29th at Denton Field. Manhasset won the game 18-5 and will play North Shore on Tuesday June 3rd at Hofstra for the Nassau title. Eileen Gaffney and Ryan Wenk had three goals each for the Indians followed by: Kelly Giesecke, Kerri Fleishhacker, and Taylor Fleishhacker with two each. Jenny Vlahos, Hillary Quinn, Nina Kucharczyk, Laura Connors, and Sarah Avallone scored one goal each. Goalkeeper Whitney Quackenbush made 10 saves for Manhasset. Cold Spring Harbor's Kristen Insardi scored two goals. Lacie Goldberg, Claire Switala and Elizabeth Gurtowski scored one goal each for the Seahawks.
