Danielle Bergersen scores two goals to lead Bethpage to a 4-1 victory over Garden City in Girls Class A soccer playoff.
Story:
On a bitter cold, wind driven, rainy day, the Bethpage Golden Eagles traveled to Garden City to face the Trojans in the second round of the girls Class A soccer playoffs. Danielle Romano broke a 1-1 tie 20:00 into the second half for No. 6 Bethpage which upset over No. 3 Garden City in the Nassau Class A quarterfinals. Danielle Bergersen scored two goals for Bethpage. Emily Banes and Danielle Romano scored the other two goals for the Golden Eagles. Goalkeepers Kylie Gregory and Allyson Leavitt combined for 19 saves while allowing just one goal.
