Matt Montgomery passes for 224 yards and one touchdown as the Garden City Trojans defeat the Calhoun Colts 23-19
Story:
Garden City quarterback Matt Montgomery was 17-for-30 for 224 yards and one touchdown as the Trojans went on to defeat the Calhoun Colts 23-19 on Saturday afternoon November 1st. The win for Garden City adds the Trojans and the Colts in a six way tie for 1st place in Nassau Conference II. Calhoun QB Ryan Hastings was 9/14 for 190 yards including two touchdowns. Recieving stats for GC: Will Fuller 3 receptions for 36 yards, Jared Mitchell 1 receptions for 33 yards,Pierce Bradley 5 receptions for 55 yards, 1 TD, Denis Rice 7 receptions for 101 yards. Calhoun's Travis Dwyer had three receptions for 117 yards, 1 TD, Brian Winterfeldt 4 receptions for 34 yards, 1 TD. Stephen Jahelka (RB) rushed 12 times for GC for 36 yards and one TD. Calhoun's Charlie Porazzo 16 attempts for 58 yards. .......................
