Nassau Class A quarterfinal girls basketball game between the Garden City Trojans and the Westbury Green Dragons on Wednesday evening February 18th. Westbury's Marlene Ricketts hit a three-pointer to put the Green Dragons up by three early in overtime and made four free throws down the stretch to help Westbury (14-6) hold on and upset top-seeded Garden City 62-59. Philana Nedd (10 points, three rebounds, five assists) hit a three-pointer with 10 seconds remaining in regulation to the score at 50 and force overtime. Ricketts finished with 25 points, seven rebounds and two assists and Alisa Ashford added nine points and 10 rebounds for the Green Dragons. Also scoring for Westbury were: Andrea Ashford (8), Kendra Little (6), Lisette Price (2), Dianicia Kirton (2), Chante White (2). Garden City's Diana Leondis scored 32 points, including a three pointer in overtime, to lead the Trojans.
