Take two strong and physical lacrosse teams and put them on the field together and you're bound to get a close, tough match. Lynbrook and Garden City certainly proved that on Wednesday afternoon April 15th in Lynbrook. In a game that included big hits and a fight that ensued after GC's Dan Niebler took a questionable hit leading to ejections on both sides, the Trojans ultimately came out on top 5-4. Kevin Dachille scored the game winner for GC with 7:37 left to play on an assist from Devin Dwyer. Also scoring for the Trojans were: Conor Dwyer, Jared Mitchell, Devin Dwyer and Brian Coleman. Brendan Engelke, in goal for GC, made 11 saves. Scoring for Lynbrook with two goals each were: Tom DeNapoli and Alex Maini.
