Baldwin Upsets No. 1 Farmingdale 7-6 in Nassau Class A Boys Lax Semifinal

Baldwin pulled off a big upset on Thursday night May 28th in the Nassau Class A boys lacrosse semi final game against Farmingdale at Hofstra University. The No. 1 Dalers weren't able to keep up with the No. 5 Bruins and trailed 5-3 at the half. Baldwin's Kyle Rebman scored the game-winner on an assist from Dominique Alexander with 2:03 left in the fourth quarter as the Bruins went on to win 7-6. Max Malinowski scored a game-high four goals, while Rebman completed the rest of Baldwin's scoring with three goals of his own. Tyler Harper, Dominique Alexander, and Aiden O'Malley each had an assist for Baldwin. Baldwin goalkeeper Brett Dadiego made 12 saves in goal. Farmingdale's Joe Celano, who finished with three goals, tied the game at 6 with 9:23 remaining in the fourth quarter. Also scoring for the Dalers were: Sal Tuttle, Korey Hendrickson, and Mike Ferrigno, with one goal each. TJ DiCarlo made 17 saves in goal for Farmingdale....................
