Nassau County Class B boys lacrosse final between the No. 1 Garden City Trojans and the No. 3 Lynbrook Owls on Wednesday night June 3rd at Hofstra University. GC held a 7-0 halftime lead and went on to win 11-4. GC's Mike Lind was the offensive player of the game, with three goals. Reid Rosello was named the defensive player of the game and Chris Connors was honored for his goalkeeping. Total scoring for Garden City: Mike Lind, 3; Tom Gordon, 2; Devin Dwyer, (2 goals, 1 assist); Matt Montgomery, 1; Will Fuller (1 goal, 3 assists); Patric Berkery, 1; Vin Chiodo, 1. Jared Mitchell picked up an assist for the Trojans. Goalkeeper Chris Connors made five saves for the Trojans. Scoring for Lynbrook: Brandon Ayers, 2; Tom DeNapoli, 1; Ryan Clark, 1. Dan Clarke added an assist. Carl Lengel made seven saves for the Owls.
