| Garden City Trojans boys soccer team heads to Nassau County semifinal after 2-1 victory over Lynbrook Owls

Garden City, New York- November 4- In a Nassau County quarter-final boys soccer game the No. 8 Lynbrook Owls traveled to Garden City to take on the No. 1 Trojans. Lynbrook opened the scoring with a goal by Mike Millilo. Garden City's Will Mignon, who scored the game winner in Garden City's previous game, struck again, and tied the score 1-1. With time running out, GC's Adam Muncan scored the game winner to advance the Trojans to the Nassau semi final against Jericho. John Tarzian and Vincent Tavernese each had an assist in the game for GC. Trojans goalkeeper George Spanos made five saves.
