| Garden City Trojans Boys Basketball Defeats Mineola Mustangs 63-56

The Garden City Trojans boys basketball team defeated the Mineola Mustangs 63-56 in a non league game on Friday evening, December 18th. Garden City's Matt Montgomery hit back-to-back threes with a minute left in the game to give the Trojans the victory. Montgomery was the game's high scorer with 22 points. Also scoring for GC were: Mike Snead (12 ), Griffin Eilbech (8 ), James Cauchi (8), Joe Capetola (4), Dan Colamussi (4), Eddie Blatz (3), and Devin Dwyer (2).. Mineola's Thomas Ward led the Mustangs scoring with 19 points. Other Mineola scoring included: James Bulva (18), Carmine Dellgatt (6), Stephen Gaffney (5), Mike Wasychuk (4), and Luis Amaya (4). Garden City's record goes to 3-0, Mineola drops to 0-3.
