Richard and Mary Morrison of Miller Place New York give each other a big hug to celebrate their winning of the $165,000,000 New York lottery "Mega Millions". They were presented with their check at the new York lottery offices in Garden City New York Thursday afternoon in a packed room full of media.
Mary Morrison purchased $5 worth of tickets on December 21st 2009 while doing her Christmas shopping.
Mary purchased the ticket at the "Cards and Things" shop in Rocky Point. The owners of the shop received a $10,000 bonus check for selling the winning ticket.
