Nassau County Class B boys varsity lacrosse game action between The Wantagh Warriors and the Lynbrook Owls on Friday afternoon May 25th at Hofstra University's Shuart Stadium. By the end of the first quarter the game was tied 3-3 but Lynbrook had a strong second quarter, scoring four more goals to Wantagh's one. Wantagh was unable to catch up and the game ended with a 13-8 victory for the Owls who will face Garden City in the Nassau County final on Wednesday May 30th. Wantagh's Anthony Biscardi led the Warriors' scoring with 4 goals, followed by Patrick Browne with two and Brandon Mangan and Frank Redmond with one each. Goalie Nick Cornella made 20 saves. Lynbrook's Joe Vitale and Billy Skelos each scored three goals while teammates Ryan Hantverk and Connor DeVoe each had two. Rounding out the scoring for Lynbrook were Mike DeNapoli and Kevin Becker with one goal a piece.
