Game action of the Nassau County Class B boys high school lacrosse
playoffs on Wednesday May 30 at Hofstra University's Shuart Stadium
between the Garden City Trojans and the Lynbrook Owls. Garden City never
trailed and won the game by a score of 14-6. The Trojans leading
scorers, with three goals each, were Dillon Dwyer, Dean Gibbons and Dan
Savage. Terry Kennedy scored twice and Tim Harder and Francis McDonough
scored one goal a piece. Goalkeeper Brian McCullough made 15 saves. Ryan
Hantverk and Mike DeNapoli scored two goals each for the Owls, followed
by Adam Greenwald and Joe Vitale with on eeach. Lynbrook goalies Matt
Chyriwski and Carl Lengel made five saves each............Lynbrook Owls
